Colin is the Founder & Managing Partner of McCafferty & Company which he founded in 2006. The firm has provided comprehensive financial advisory, and strategic consulting services to the entertainment, media and technology sectors on M&A (both sell-side and buy-side), private placements, valuation, restructuring assignments and strategy consulting engagements.
He is the former Director of Private Equity at Saban Capital Group, a media private equity fund, where he led the financial due diligence on the acquisition of ProSiebenSat.1, in addition to executing transactions with Bezeq, Kashet, Univision, and others from 2003 to 2006.
Colin’s finance career began in Goldman Sachs’ M&A Investment Banking Division in New York, where he worked on numerous mergers and acquisitions in Communications, Media and Entertainment.
His media industry experience began at CBS, working on the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games in Ad Sales, Operations and Production. Nominated for two Emmy Awards. Founder of iHoops.com, a rights holder of national street basketball leagues. Sold to Endgame Entertainment in 2001.
Colin has an M.B.A. from Harvard University, B.A. from Miami University (Ohio), and studied abroad at Sophia University in Japan and is fluent in Japanese.
