Seth Jacobs is the Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships at Victorious, and a founding executive who leads its Creative Group, overseeing business development and partner management teams for Victorious’ network of mobile communities. He leads all business dealings with talent, new media companies, traditional media, content licensors and distributors, as well as leading partner management, community management and moderation teams that works closely with its partners to ensure the long term success of each mobile property.
Prior to joining Victorious, Seth was the Senior Vice President of Sales, and on the founding team at EQAL where he established and led a variety of departments including licensing, business development, and brand integration sales. He was an integral part of the company's eventual acquisition by Waterfront Media (Everyday Health) in 2012. Seth was also part of the original ‘Lonelygirl15’ production crew once upon a time.
Seth completed his bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Seth received a J.D., with honors distinction from the McCarthy School of Intellectual Property at the University of San Francisco School of Law. He has been a member of the California State Bar since 2004, and advises several venture backed media and technology startups.
