Prior to Complex Media, Amy Geary was VP, Sales and Business Development in Content Distribution at Viacom, responsible for the distribution of all video content from the Viacom suite of networks including MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1, BET, Comedy Central, and the Paramount joint venture, EPIX, to both traditional MVPDs and digital distributors globally. Before that, Geary held various executive roles in sales and strategy at The Walt Disney Company, including within distribution at Disney & ESPN Media Networks, Disney Channel and the global distribution strategy team. Geary began her television distribution career at DIRECTV.
In her early career, Amy Geary worked as a writer, producer and editor. Her television credits include productions for VH1, Comedy Central, NBC, The Food Network and ESPN.
