Chris Lenz is the Senior Vice President of Creative and Production at Viacom Velocity. Lenz oversees all creative and the development of branded content campaigns for Velocity’s dedicated movie studio group in Los Angeles. Since joining Velocity in 2013, he has been a driving creative force behind many of Velocity’s hit marketing campaigns. He collaborates with advertising partners and movie studios to execute a range of cross-network, integrated campaigns across MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, CMT, Spike, TV Land, and Logo. He also created award-winning pro-social PSAs with partners like the global human rights organization Witness, and the Joyful Heart Foundation and No More supporting an end to domestic violence.
Lenz is an award winning producer and creative director with over 20 years of experience in the advertising and entertainment industry. Before joining Viacom, Lenz was an Executive Producer at BBDO, where he produced Super Bowl commercials for such brands as Mountain Dew and M&M’s and prior to that he served as Senior Vice President of Video and Content at Sony Music Entertainment, where he created content for such high profile artists as Bob, Dylan, David Bowie, Beyoncé and Bruce Springsteen. He also served as Vice President of Production at Grey Worldwide on the International Mars account.
